Information
Gathered
Confess Online does
not ask for information that personally
identifies you. The only information
we gather that can identify you is your
username in making a confession. Thus,
we urge you to use a fictitious name (but
one you can remember). We use
this username in posting confessions to the
bulletin board.
All other
information gathered is related to the
confession or ethics quiz. The
responses to the ethics quiz are kept
separately from the confessions and are not
cross referenced. Individual responses
to the ethics quiz are tracked only by time
and date. Individual confessions are
tracked by time, date and
username.
Internal Use
of Information
Confess Online
may place a "cookie" (a small data
file) in the browser files of your computer.
The cookie itself does not contain any
personal information. It is used in
tracking your use of our site and in sending
data in the ethics quiz or confession to the
database.
Sharing
Information
Confess Online
contains links, including buttons and banner
ads, to our partners and other Web sites.
Please note that when you click one of these
links, you are leaving Confess online and
moving to other Web sites which have
separate data and privacy practices from Confess
Online and Confess
Online disclaims any responsibility
or liability for their policies or actions.
We encourage you to read the privacy
statements of these other sites. We do
not use any advertising that uses cookies
that can track your browsing across multiple
web sites.
Confess
Online may make aggregate
information gathered about its users
available to investors or advertising
partners. Confess
Online will not make any individual
information available, except the
confessions posted on the bulletin board and
any personally identifiable information
volunteered in a
confession.
